PAC RESOURCES
I’ve noticed that Pastors have very interesting needs as they minister day in and day out. Healthy feedback and accountability are essential for the constant sharpening needed in ministry. However, substantive and meaningful encouragement is increasingly rare in the trenches. PAC has been nourishment for my soul in all of these areas. The prayerful feedback, healthy accountability, and life-giving encouragement I have received since becoming a partner have been gifts from the LORD that I constantly draw from.

PASTORS + WIVES RETREAT
Each year PAC Pastors + Wives join together for 3 days of friendship and soul rest. We eat together, play together, sing together, and rest together. We share stories from the trenches and celebrate God’s work in us and through us. Our PAC Pastors + Wives Retreat is the highlight of our year! All expenses covered through church’s monthly pledge.

GOSPEL CO-OP GROUPS
Bi-Weekly our PAC Pastors gather in small groups (3-4) with other PAC Pastors. In this moment we share griefs and celebrations, we talk family and ministry, and we distinguish between personal spiritual vitality and the life of the church. We use this space for gospel encouragement and gentle accountability.

MENTAL HEALTH CARE
PAC ensures that all of our PAC Pastors are meeting regularly with a trusted, clinically-informed, Bible-loving counselor or coach outside of their congregation. As pastors we know we experience deep heartache, but we don’t often know the right person to share it with. A cadence of mental health care outside of our congregation allows us to grieve what needs to be grieved so we don’t carry hurts longer than we should.

PHYSICAL WELLNESS COACHING
PAC partners with physical health professionals to provide coaching to our Pastors. As Pastors join PAC they receive an immediate series of intake sessions with their coach followed by quarterly check-ins regarding their physical wellbeing. We believe our physical health directly impacts our mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, and so it is important to be mindful of this area of our lives.

PASTORS WEEK
Annually we gather in Nashville, TN with all our PAC Pastors for a 4-day intensive that focuses on friendship-building, leadership development, strategizing key issues facing our lives, families, and churches, and prayer together. PAC Pastors are spread out around the country and this critical moment of in-person brotherhood is vital to our ministry year. All expenses covered through church’s monthly pledge.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Annually our PAC Pastors gather together in Nashville, TN for 4-days of camaraderie, check-in, encouragement, and leadership development. Churches have the opportunity to send one rising leader through the Pastor Leadership Collective (PLC). The PLC consists of a seminary-type reading load along with four 8-hour seminar sessions in Nashville, TN. PLC participants will learn the Biblical theology behind pastoring, practical ministry wisdom for sustainability and joy over the long haul, and will get valuable preaching experience with real-time critique.

RESOURCE LIBRARY
The PAC Resource Library is a searchable database where our PAC churches share resources. In the library you’ll find graphic design for programs, calendar events and sermon series; written systems and organizational best practices; common HR templates for ministry descriptions, manuals, salary guidelines, and health benefits; and vital language such as service liturgies and clear Biblical articulations for key issues.

SPOUSE SUPPORT
We know that our spouses serve in a beautifully-peculiar ministry among the community, and they need unique care and support as do we. Their flourishing in the life of our local congregation matters to God, to us, our families, and the vitality of our churches. Annually each PAC Pastors-Wife receives 8 sessions of Christian Soul Care from our partnering provider.
